What is RegenConnect?
RegenConnect is an agriculture program aimed at rewarding farmers with resources and the support necessary to implement regenerative practices to increase crop productivity.
What are Crop Inputs?
Crop inputs are the various methods and materials farmers use to cultivate their crops. Think if it as anything that goes into (input) caring for your crops. Crop inputs affect harvest yields and the environment as whole.
Project Goals
Design an experience that allows farmers to independently manage their crop inputs needs.
Prioritize mobile-first design to cater to the on-the-go nature of farming.
Focus on scanability of financial data to empower decision-making.

Usability Testing
Tested an early prototype of the website informed by business decisions with farmers. The goal was to ensure the platform was intuitive, accessible, and (most importantly) user-centered.

The insights from the test drove key improvements to the design and guided future iterations. Testing early on allowed the time room to shift priorities, redefine features, and increase productivity. The quotes and findings also helped stakeholders understand design decisions.
Here's what some farmers had to say:
It’s great that I would be able to see all of this information any time I want.
I like how this is laid out! I would love a paper version for bookkeeping.
I don’t know what some of this information is...these 4 categories are the only things I want to see when looking at the site.

Responsive Components
I utilized Figma’s new variable and mode system to create reusable, responsive components. These components would change size and text style for web, tablet, and mobile.

Designing these components also helped the engineers on my team understand breakpoints and the importance of responsive design.
Here's an example of how they operated:
My work for this project is under an NDA.
